Solid basswood panels with louvers you tilt by hand — a permanent fixture, not a covering.
Plantation shutters are built as framed wooden panels that mount to the window and stay there. Tilt the louvers for light and privacy, or swing a panel open to clear the glass entirely.
Ours are made from basswood in a 301 White finish, with 3.5-inch or 4.5-inch louvers and a hidden or front tilt rod. Choose from Z-frames, L-frames, and a deco frame, four-sided or three-sided frame configurations, bypass or bi-fold panels for sliding doors, and specialty shapes such as arches and sunbursts.
