Custom Faux Wood Blinds
Faux wood blinds give you the look of a wood slat blind in a material that shrugs off humidity — which is why they are the usual pick for kitchens, bathrooms and anywhere steam or splashes happen.
Ours are 2-inch slat blinds, made to the width and height you measure. Choose cordless or corded lift, a wand or cord tilt, and a crown or modern valance (or none). Production takes about a week.
- Cut to the eighth of an inch — inside, outside or exact mount
- Cordless lift from 10″ to 96″ wide
- Crown valance, modern valance, or no valance
- Made to order in about a week; free shipping
Guides for this category
- How to measure for blinds and shades
A steel tape, three measurements per dimension, and the nearest eighth of an inch — that is all it takes.
- Inside mount vs outside mount
The mount decides how you measure, how the product looks, and how much light leaks around it.
- Faux wood blinds vs wood blinds
Faux wood for kitchens, baths and durability; real wood for warmth and weight — and what we actually make.
- How to install our blinds and shades
A level, a drill and about fifteen minutes per window.
Common questions
- Do you sell real wood blinds?
- Not at the moment. We make 2-inch faux wood blinds, which handle humidity better than real wood and come in the same slat size. If you want the warmth of real wood, our basswood plantation shutters are solid wood.
- How do I measure for faux wood blinds?
- For an inside mount, measure the opening width and height at three points and give us the smallest of each — we take the deductions. For an outside mount, measure the area you want covered. Our measuring guide walks through it.
- What is the largest size you make?
- Cordless lift is available up to 96 inches wide and 96 inches high. Corded lift covers other sizes — the configurator shows the exact window for the options you pick.
