- Light filtering or room darkening — which should I choose?
- Light filtering lets daylight through while hiding the view in daytime; it is right for living rooms and offices. Room darkening blocks most light and gives privacy day and night; choose it for bedrooms and media rooms. Free swatches let you hold both.
- Can roller shades be motorized?
- Yes. Choose Motor as the control; motorized roller shades are available from 20 to 108 inches wide.
- What is "reverse roll"?
- Standard roll drops the fabric off the back of the tube, close to the glass. Reverse roll drops it off the front, which hides the tube when there is no cassette and clears a deep window handle.
